About

Empire Alley

circa 2006 - circa 2012
EMPIRE ALLEY - As if winning a city-wide battle of the bands in their first month of existence was not enough, indie pop-rock band Empire Alley took the prize money and recorded a debut EP that has them touring across Canada and has their EP single ‘Orange Revolution’ getting airplay 99.3 The Fox.

Influenced by the likes of Spoon, Maximo Park and The Clash, Empire Alley’s brand of indie-rock will conjure up images of sweaty, dancing indie rock fans singing along with the band. No wonder, because their music can be described as melody driven songs that dabble in the indie pop-rock realm, and because you will often find sweaty, dancing fans at the band’s live shows. Empire Alley’s kinetic sound and animated live shows have been featured at New Music West and at live music venues across Western Canada.

Empire Alley’s Canadian tour will begin in June 2008 with a tour kick off party in Vancouver.
