About the Project

The Royal City Music Project is Glenn Parfitt, Ross Damude, Ken Sherwood, and Nev Gibson. It was established in July of 2002 to archive and preserve the names of all the contemporary bands, musicians, venues, promoters, artists and technicians, from the 1800's up to and including 1999, who contributed to the development of the now internationally known Canadian Westcoast music community and to pay tribute to their respective works of art and accomplishments
