Epic in musical and spiritual scope, Edward Elgar's The Dream of Gerontius hasn't been performed in Victoria since the 1990's.
Composed in 1900, it follows the journey of a pious man's Soul from death to his final judgement, encountering Angelic and Demonic characters along the way.
The performance features 3 soloists who've individually sung these roles on various world stages; a choir of more than 90 singers, and an orchestra of 30+ players, many of them members of the Victoria Symphony.
Doors open at 7, general admission.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
