Formed at the height of the civil rights movement, Dance Theatre of Harlem has created a space for dancers of every colour and background to express themselves freely. The legendary company continues to be a beacon of inclusion, innovation and moving art, performing a forward-thinking repertoire of treasured classics, neoclassical works by Balanchine and resident choreographer Robert Garland, and modern works that celebrate Black culture. This mixed program will showcase the dancers’ incredible technique and some of the company’s signature works.
