Here's what your Saturday late morning looks like: you walk into a cozy downtown studio, art supplies already laid out on the table, calm music playing. You pick a seat, settle in, and start creating.
Some people follow a guided prompt or ask for assistance to get started. Some bring their own project. Some just doodle and see what happens. There's no instruction and no pressure. It is all about the creative process.
This open studio runs twice a month and is designed for anyone who wants a creative, screen-free way to start their weekend. Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush or you're a practising artist looking for community, you're welcome here.
What's included:
- All art materials (painting, drawing, mixed media etc.)
- Optional guided creative prompts
- A warm, relaxed space facilitated by an Art Therapist (Hanna Verhagen, MC, DVATI, BA, CCC)
- Tea and soft music
- No art experience needed.
- Limited to 8 people
This is a great first step if you're curious about using art therapeutically or just want a meaningful way to start your Saturday.
