Hailing from Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast, Bits of String is Kaia Nielsen, Mark Lebbell, and daughter Mari Nielsen playing a mix of stringy genres full of harmonies, humour, heartbreak, and hope!
Recently Mark developed an unfortunate allergy to traditional Christmas mall music, so along with carrying an epipen this time of year, his condition necessitated he also develop a repertoire of “holiday-adjacent” tunes. If you’re looking for an evening of holiday spirit without the extra calories of figgy pudding, fried latkes, and chocolate magi, come and join Bits of String tonight for a tasty mix of covers and originals with a heaping side of Non-Traditional Holiday Vibes!
