Celebrating a decade of dedication and excellence, this special event shines a spotlight on the remarkable talent nurtured within the School of Contemporary Music. Led by Artistic Director Daniel Lapp, our esteemed faculty members will command the stage, offering a captivating showcase spanning rock, jazz, folk, hip-hop, and electronic genres. Prepare to be captivated as these seasoned professionals share their passion and expertise honed through years in the music industry.

As a highlight of the evening, we will unveil the recipient of the Henwood Family Prize for Emerging Artists, a $1000 award aimed at inspiring young talents (ages 12 to 21, residing on Vancouver Island) to pursue a career in music. The winner will also treat the audience to their winning rendition of a contemporary song.
Venue Accessibility: The 900 Johnson Street entrance is at ground-level and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator on the first floor (as you enter the building, go down the ramp to your right and the elevator is on the left at the bottom). Wheelchair accessible restrooms are on the main floor, beside the lobby in the Reception/ Front Desk area.
