Lawyer, producer and songwriter Stephen Stohn’s accomplishments are too numerous to jam into a short bio. He has co-founded a radio station, chaired the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, produced on Degrassi: The Next Generation, and most recently, been appointed to the Order of Canada. He was a founding partner in Canada’s preeminent entertainment law firm, and he’s joining us here at the Broom to discuss practical aspects of creative work, including effective strategies for pitching, protecting creative ideas from theft, understanding when to seek legal assistance, tips for negotiating, and the potential creative use of tools like ChatGPT.
This session is free, but we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance, as space is limited!
