Think you have star potential? It may be worth $1,000. That's the amount that Cultivate Kingston (https://www.cultivatekingston.com)—a local organization dedicated to connecting consumers with Kingston businesses—is promising to award the grand prize winner of the Hometown Impact Talent Showcase.
The contest, scheduled to take place noon to 5 p.m. on September 23 in Confederation Park (https://kingstonlive.ca/resource/1191628/view), will be judged by a celebrity panel and is open to all types of talent, from music and singing to dancing and magic, and likely everything in between.
