BC’s own Brandon Isaak’s album release concert for his upcoming album ‘One Step Closer’! Backing him are The Saints of Swing.
JUNO nominated and Maple Blues Award winner, Brandon Isaak has a passion and thirst for the history of music and origins of the blues, and is always apparent in his energetic and entertaining live shows.
This album features some of the finest roots & blues musicians in the country like David Vest, Al Pease, Darryl Havers, Don Cox and more. It’s an eclectic mix across the blues landscape from 1930’s New Orleans to 1950s early Chicago blues.
With 11 perfectly crafted songs, incredible guitar playing and smoky vocals, Isaak has once again produced an incredible and accessible album for blues fans of all sub-genres.
