ALL AGES SHOW IN WHITE ROCK
HEDLEY featuring JACOB HOGGARD
plus special guests THE RUMOURS and RIO BENT
SATURDAY, JUNE 18TH at the STAR OF THE SEA HALL
15262 PACIFIC AVE., WHITE ROCK (604 541 1928)
Rock.It Boy Entertainment kicks off the summer of 2005 with an All Ages Show of local favourites in White Rock. Live in concert on Saturday, June 18th is HEDLEY featuring JACOB HOGGARD plus special guests THE RUMOURS plus RIO BENT at the Star of the Sea Hall, 15262 Pacific Ave.
JACOB HOGGARD is like a race horse at the gate waiting to pound down the track with his cranked up version of HEDLEY. His charm, energy and talent have already cut a swath across the country and the industry is waiting to see what kind of deal he is going to do in the business. HEDLEY, meanwhile, is jamming, writing new songs and using the time to play as many shows as possible for the local crowd, because summer is here and the party waits for no one.
Lou Rumour of THE RUMOURS grew up in White Rock and is bringing her band home for the show. This high-energy group hit the music industry like a hurricane in 2004, but Just Janelle, Lou Rumour and Melissa Starr took the awards and the paparazzi showcases in stride and then kicked it up a bit, adding potent drummer Steve Senyk and releasing their album The Mighty Can Fall in 2005.
Also from the spawning musical grounds of White Rock is the passionate and powerful Allie Sheldan who slaps the bass and fronts dynamic punksters RIO BENT, with her brother Kurtis on guitar and Dan Stenning on drums. Come see why they were named the Georgia Straight’s “New Band of the Year.
