Event Description
Guided by Nature Sketch artist and naturalist Jen Burgess, this 8-week course will introduce watercolour materials and techniques to help you add a splash of colour to your nature journaling. We will learn various techniques such as washes, glazing, dry-brushing, wet-into-wet, various ways to create textures, paint-resist/masking; we will go further into compositions, value, colour theory and colour mixing. But most importantly we will learn how to plan your composition and execute your process. Watercolour is a fun mental challenge so come prepared to think!
