Come join singer-songwriter Lorraine Nygaard and her fabulous band members of Ashley Wey on piano, Louis Rudner on bass and Kelby MacNayr on drums.
At the inaugural “Getting to Know Nina Simone” in 2019, audience members were blown away by the energy of the band, and deeply moved by the passion in Ms. Nygaard’s delivery of the material. Part story-telling, part drama, full on commitment to celebrating the life and work of fabulous Ms. Simone, you can be part of this special evening. By reserving in advance, you’ll save $2 too!
Born Eunice Waymon, Ms. Simone was born on February 21st, 1933, so we're right on time to pay tribute. Doors at 5:30, down-beat at 7:30!
