8 Artists, 1 Venue, 1 Theme, 1 Hour and 1 Mystery Box
Vancouver Visual Art Foundation will be hosting ART MASTERS at the Portside in Gastown. ART MASTERS is a painting competition in which professional artists can show their creative skills in an exciting fast paced environment. Artists will be given a theme and their task is to express this theme within a one-hour time slot, using a mystery box of supplies.
This event's theme is “Day of the Dead” The Mystery Element: Just minutes prior to the competition kicking off, artists will receive a mystery box filled with an assortment of supplies to use to create their masterpieces instead of the customary paint brush or palette knife. This is the moment when artists will be very creative and act in the moment of how to use these mystery items. You can look forward to an event full of creative and unique artwork, good music and a fun filled atmosphere.
Tickets: $10 online, $15 at the door
