Chris Newman and Blake Candy
Chris Newman and Blake Candy are a new partnership in the field of acoustic folk and bluegrass music - performing together for the past 6 months, at farmer's markets, open stages, and local jams.
Chris Newman has been playing guitar for the past 20 years, with a wide range of inspiration and musical styles shaping his playing abilities.
Blake Candy has been playing guitar for about 15 years, and the banjo for about 6. As well, a wide range of musical inspiration has shaped his own unique style.
Together they blend in a clean and enjoyable fashion - making for a pleasurable experience for the listener to experience classic acoustic music; sweet folk songs, fiddle tunes, and old-time country.
