Event Description

This February take a magical journey to the tropics with the super group ISSAMBA!!! featuring Artists from Cameroon, Burkina Faso & Guinea:
West African super group ISSAMBA with Balafon virtuoso Mamadou Diabate, dancer Merlin Nykam, African flute Laso Sanou, and bass drum player Akra Soumah. Opening guests: the Victoria Percussion Orchestra and the UVic African Music Ensemble. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
