Stephanie Zelnick’s program takes a unique and provocative musical snapshot from the middle of the 20th century with sonatinas by Joseph Horovitz and Bohuslav Martinů, Béla Kovács’ Sholem alekhem rov feidman, and Alan Shulman’s Rendezvous. Hailed by critics as “simply sublime and exquisite,” Dr. Zelnick is Associate Professor of Clarinet at the University of Kansas and principal clarinet of the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra.
