A night of Montreal pysch-indie-pop-rockers the Jon Cohen Experimental (JCEx)!
Fantasy prom king, master crafter of cult-pop gems and multi-threat instrumentalist Jon Cohen knows exactly what Ween’s Deaner was talkin’ about.
JCEx’s sweet but potent stories spring from a natural, and infectious, sense of curiosity. His beguiling art rock inventions promise a subtle yet sultry escape from those pesky workaday hang-ups.

Go Getters is the band’s 5th release. Recorded by Dave Draves (Kathleen Edwards, Jim Bryson) at Little Bullhorn in Ottawa, mastered by Jett Galindo (Neil Young, Sam Roberts) at the Bakery in LA, and set for August 4th release on Sugar Gator (Jess Reimer, Moulettes), the intriguing thing about this record is its propensity to defy genre.
