We've taken up Pemberton week's Friday night to put on a show for you at the one and only Fox Cabaret this July 14th! Promise we had nothing to do with Pemberton going bust though . . . (Or maybe we did 😜)
This isn't an open mic, and each act will be playing 45/50 minutes of music. We wanted to put on your radar that we're hosting none other than
Elliott Slinn -
7PM to 8PM
If you've been acquainted with Elliott at all, you'd know that he's the true artist that writes for the pure outlet of expression, and is sure to evoke a sweet semblance to Bob Dylan, both lyrically and melodically. Elliott's taken it under his wing to play a FULL LENGTH set (for the very first time!) with all the songs he's been writing over the last year and a half, and has assembled a band of awesome musicians with his homies Dom on piano and Adrian on the bass.
If John Mayer had a twin soul, Mike Machado would be it's host. He's got one devoted love for Classic Rock and Blues and is cooking up some original tunes that you must keep your eyes n ears peeled for. Alongside the tributes, he'll be performing songs from his latest album. If you haven't caught him at a Skytrain station near you, then come and see what all the fuss is about. This man will blow you away with mind numbing blues.
Dreamin up an outpour of Alternative, Pop-infused Art Rock that falls nothing short of peachy, KAIS demonstrates heavy influence by hallmark acts like Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and Gary Clark Jr.
Bringing to life the sound of a consummate and nomadic soul, he shows no signs of resting till he's scaled the fresh and groundbreaking.
DJs on from 10:30PM onwards.. Those with tickets to our event can stick around if they like.
