Event Description
Countermeasure is the fresh face of a cappella, known for their upbeat sound, sophisticated harmonies, and infectious energy. Led by award-winning composer/arranger Aaron Jensen, and featuring some of Canada’s top young vocal talent, Countermeasure delivers a memorable musical experience that has earned the group critical and public acclaim.
To date, the group has shared the stage with such vocal giants as The Swingle Singers, The Real Group, The Four Freshman, and The Nylons, as well as Canadian music mainstays Corey Hart, Chantal Kreviazuk, Nikki Yanofsky, and Blue Rodeo.
Countermeasure has been featured at high-profile jazz festivals, concert series, and galas, as well as on CBC, Global, Rogers and City TV Breakfast Television. Their debut album, 14 Characters, has played on syndicated radio stations across North America.
