Please join us for another evening of art-making.
Bring your art for the open mic - all forms are welcome! Prose, music, poetry, comedy, monologue, slam... if you want to share it, we want to see/hear/experience it.
Help us pay our artists! Donations are appreciated.

ADÈLE BARCLAY
Adèle’s writing has appeared in The Fiddlehead, The Puritan, PRISM, The Literary Review of Canada, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2016 Lit POP Award for Poetry and the 2016 Walrus Readers’ Choice Award for Poetry and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her debut poetry collection, If I Were in a Cage I’d Reach Out for You, (Nightwood, 2016) was nominated for the 2015 Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Poetry. She is the Interviews Editor at The Rusty Toque, a poetry ambassador for Vancouver’s Poet Laureate Rachel Rose, and the 2017 Critic-in-Residence for Canadian Women In Literary Arts.

LUKAS SERENA BHANDAR
Lukas Serena's work has been published in Plenitude Magazine, This Side of West, NonBinary Review, and a few other places. She has a short story forthcoming in the print collection Nameless Woman: An Anthology of Fiction by Trans Women of Color. She also serve on the nonfiction editorial board of The Malahat Review.
Lukas Serena is a queer, genderfluid trans woman & a half-Sikh, half-white settler living on unceded Lekwungen and WSÁNEĆ territories.
COLETTE HABEL
Fresh out of UVic's Theatre and Writing Departments, Colette holds design and directing credits from the UVic's Phoenix Theatre, SATCo, Theatre SKAM, Catador Theatre, Intrepid Theatre's YouShow and New Play Reading Series' and the Victoria Fringe Festival. Colette is the former Drama Editor of the Warren Undergraduate Review. Her plays have been read at OUTstages, Intrepid's queer theatre festival. Colette has been a panelist at the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres' annual conference and can finally (finally) announce she will be the Representative of Directing for Vino Buono's 2017 season.
