Event Description

Multi instrumentalist Chris Sherlock plays mostly guitars, mandolin, bass and flute and produces music in his home studio in Esquimalt BC. Chris Sherlock was a member of the folk alt band Medicine Wheel in the late 70s. In the 80s he founded Victoria reggae band Orca and hard rock band The Catch in the Cowichan Valley. In the 90s he formed folk-punk band The MacDonalds. Since then, Sherlock has performed regularly with banjo picker Chuck McCandless and hosted the Sunday afternoon Ceilidh at the Lion Rampant in Maple Bay and Gaby's Restaurant in West Shore. He also founded the power trio, rock and reggae band Toys.
