Paul Sharits documentary film screening: Paul Sharits, Francois Miron

Event Description

On Thursday, November 3, at 7 pm, MediaNet presents in its FLUX media art gallery, PAUL SHARITS, a documentary feature film by François Miron. In the mid sixties Paul Sharits (1943-1993) started to explore the potential of the flicker film. The prominent iconoclast and innovator provoked audiences with fast-flickering, pulsating, colourful mosaics. The documentary covers his life's work. The screening will also feature one of Sharit's flicker films. The event is free, donations welcome.
