Event Description
Syrious Music: A community of West Coast Women composers and local professional musicians coming together to create and perform new music in response to the Syrian refugee crisis. Instrumentation includes classical guitar, youth choir, piano, violin, flute and soprano. This is a family friendly event. Suggested donations are $10/person or $25/family. This concert is a fundraiser for a group of local residents working with the Intercultural Association of Greater Victoria to sponsor Syrian refugees to come to our beautiful city of Victoria.
