We're excited to present:
L'AMOUR LISIK is meandering towards a Writing degree at the University of Victoria. She focuses on creative nonfiction and poetry. She's worked as a poetry editor for This Side of West in 2014 and is currently a CNF editor. She enjoys printmaking, drawing, and reading comics. Both This Side of West and The Warren published her CNF in 2015.
LEAH CALLAN is an emerging playwright who graduated with an MFA from the University of Victoria in 2015. Her thesis project was a surreal script that challenged Russia's war on the Ukraine and human rights. Her company Hairpin Curves Productions joined forces with a talented theatrical crew and produced her one-act play The Daughter of Turpentine for the Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival last year. Leah wants to take a break from dark, edgy scripts and try something lighter for the Rabbit Hole -- a new scene read by local talent Jennifer Smythe and Max Johnson. Keep an eye out for Leah's work at the next Fringe Festival.
