Celebrated Russian pianist, Professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory Pavel Egorov performs on

Friday, January 22, 2016 at 7:30 PM at Pyatt Hall, VSO School of Music, 843 Seymour St.

In programme: works by Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Bruckner, Tchaikovsky and Scriabin.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $25 for seniors/students, will be available at the door (cash only, please) and can be reserved by phone: 778 999 6841 or via email: [email protected] (reservation is recommended).

Pavel Egorov launched his career by winning the Gold Medal and the Grand Prize at the prestigious International Schumann Competition in Zwickau, Germany in 1974. He is an Honorary Member of the International Schumann Society, Dusseldorf, and was awarded the International Schumann Price in 1988 . He holds the highest artistic title in Russia, "National Artist of Russian Federation". Pavel Egorov has toured in the United States, Canada, China, Taiwan, Japan, Republic of Korea, and most of Europe. During his career he has performed in more than 3000 solo, symphonic and chamber concerts and recorded over 40 Cds.
