Cluny Macpherson is a true original. He has travelled across Canada by bus, by rail, and by thumb. His songs have been described as "perfect" and "timeless." He writes about humidity, Sudbury, globalization, tragedy and his daughter. And, he makes a mean hollandaise. He can play the guitar, banjo, bass and mandolin. He currently resides in Victoria, BC and has been said to possess Victoria's "most authentic bluegrass voice. He will be performing songs from his upcoming release Country Squall, his first solo endeavour. Produced by Adrian Dolan (Ruth Moody, The Bills), the album features Cluny's songwriting as well as a who's who of roots musicians from the Pacific Northwest.
