Hither Green

MediaNet is very pleased to co-present Hither Green, a video installation by Brandon Poole, in partnership with the Antimatter Film Festival. The work will be running during the Festival, from October 17-31.

Brandon Poole is a Victoria-based artist, whose practice hovers between material and image.
In Hither Green, we are observers of a seemingly calm environment - an everyday of houses, trees, and here and there a person going about their daily tasks. But is there more to this ordinary landscape? The quiet is periodically broken by the Westminster chime stating "all clear, all clear." Is this a comfort or a warning of unseen danger?
