A few weeks into the New Year and the days are starting to feel longer as the winter solstice is behind us. The sun periodically graces us with its presence, sharing its warmth with those whom live below. People often spend these damp dark months hermiting in their respectable dwellings with cups of freshly brewed tea and stacks of wool blankets.
BC folk/roots and pop/folk singer/songwriters Brett Wildeman and Jodi Doidge have decided to inject their warmth into communities on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast, embarking on the ‘Cold Hands & Warm Hearts Tour’. The musicians will be breaking from convention as they collect warm clothes and blankets for cold weather shelters and non-profits organizations during their travels.
Let these musicians warm your hearts and ease your winter doldrums as they hit the road with their instruments and travel mugs filled with hot beverages in tow!
