Event Description
Come and have your say, paint, and play once, or twice, this autumn.
We invite you to join us as we create mural components together for revitalizing a dull outdoor storage container, and for adding interpretive signage for the Fairfield Community Garden. Murals will be installed and celebrated in May - June 2015.
We are thinking about Home & Belonging – habitat for humans and other dwellers, in Fairfield Gonzales community and as members of a wider community which shares interest in well-being for us and for other urban dwellers.
Explore your local, personal history, anecdotes and stories, perspectives as old-timers and new-comers, by sharing your experiences and views in text and visual creations.
Talk about and write poems reflecting what stirs your heart about Home, about the past, and about a new future in a shifting time of environmental changes.
Lead artist Carolyn Knight shares her keen interest in local ecologies, community vitality, and creating opportunities for us to just simply be together in community.
We’ll have some refreshments to share. The kettle will be on!
I hope you’ll join us or pop by to see what we are doing.
