Event Description
When the unsuspecting newly engaged couple Brad Majors (Randall Peters) and Janet Weiss (Sarah Anne Murphy) find themselves stranded in the woods in the middle of the night, they are terrified to discover themselves at the house of Dr. Frank N' Furter (Griffin Lea), a deliciously charming, yet utterly unpredictable transvestite who runs his household in the most unusual of ways.
For decades, the audiences of Victoria have been attending Halloween screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Roxy Theatre. Now, they'll have a chance to take that experience to the next level with this thrilling live performance. RKO's The Rocky Horror Show will provide all the nostalgia of that intimate, integral part of our city's culture, and add the spice of life for Victoria's “Rocky Horror” fans!
The Rocky Horror Show will be brought to life under the direction of Atomic Vaudeville's Britt Small and the stellar choreography by Sarah Anne Murphy, and will feature a live, five piece rock and roll band under the musical direction of Stephanie Sartore.
With an all-star cast of 15 local actors, including Kelly Hudson as Riff Raff, Jacqueline McLaughlin as the Criminologist, Stephanie Sartore as Magenta, Candace Woodland as Columbia and Alex Judd as both Eddie and Dr. Scott, Rebel Knock Out Productions promises an evening of supreme talent and demented debauchery.
Join us for this cult classic, chalk full of rip roaring rock and roll numbers like “Sweet Transvestite” and “Time Warp”, and enjoy an unforgettable night of singing, dancing, and screaming, while Brad and Janet are coaxed out of their narrow minded ways and into the weird and wonderful world of uninhibited thinking.
