"CFSW NATIONAL FINALS! featuring OpenSecret and Moe Clark" :: 8:00 - 11:00 PM :: $20 (regular) $15 (student)
2014 World Cup of Poetry champion Ikenna "OpenSecret" Onyegbula and internationally-acclaimed Metis artist Moe Clark headline this event as the 2014 CFSW Poets of Honour. A special Poet of Honour presentation in memory of the recently deceased Zaccheus Jackson will be featured as well.
After that, the top four teams in the country will compete to earn the title of CFSW poetry slam champions, as judged by the audience. Guaranteed to be high intensity and a lot of fun.
Poetry slam is a competition in which poets present original work without the use of costumes, props, or musical accompaniment, within a three minute time limit.
