Folk Duo at Lacey-Lou: Fickle Youth

Event Description

Jeff and Tyler are two engineering students who met in their first year at UVic. They immediately
hit it off and began developing their musical talents. Throughout university, they played at any
given chance, whether it be in an echoey stairwell or perched in an arbutus tree late at night
playing for appreciative students. Their original music is heavily influenced by modern pop and
soul, and they also give their own creative spin to artists such as Simon and Garfunkel, Outkast,
and Justin Timberlake. Outgrowing the hallways of the Engineering Lab Wing, they’ve started
reaching out to the community for shows and plan on busking during the summer and playing
shows at cafes, bars, and eateries.
