KACY & CLAYTON
http://kacyandclayton.bandcamp.com/
Hailing from the border of Southern Saskatchewan/Montana this acoustic duo, "Kacy & Clayton" is Kacy Anderson on vocals, violin, and Clayton Linthicum on guitar, vocals. The duo interprets, and composes music inspired by, forms of traditional music from Southern Appalachia and the British Isles. Educated by their Grandfather/Great-Uncle respectively, Kacy & Clayton possess an admiration for music and stories of days past. Kacy's vocals, virtuous and pure, weave seamlessly with Clayton's finger-style guitar accompaniment. Although the second cousins are young in age (17 & 19), they've been playing music together for over a decade and have created a distinct and cohesive sound. Clayton Linthicum is also the lead guitar player in the Deep Dark Woods.

http://jaynetrimble.bandcamp.com/
Jayne Trimble is a folk musician from Northern Ireland currently residing on Vancouver Island. Her music is influenced by southern US finger-pickers like Mississippi John Hurt and Elizabeth Cotton. Jayne's melodies and lyrics are inspired heavily by the traditional stories found in Appalachian mountain music, and the timeless fiddle tunes from her Irish homeland. Trimble’s songs echo with atmosphere and carefully chosen arrangements, her voice is reminiscent of majestic singers such as Emmylou Harris and Sandy Denny.
