Event Description
SATURDAY, APRIL 26
The Biltmore Cabaret PRESENTS:
Jeremy Allingham of Factories & Alleyways releases his debut solo record at The Biltmore Cabaret April 26th. Allingham's new folk record, 'That One Song', strikes at the very heart of Canada, artfully covering off topics like small town desolation, big city dreams, listening to the CBC and, of course, hockey. The songs, along with their lyrics and melodies leave an important imprint on the already impressive landscape of Canadian folk music.
"The songs mix Springsteen-esque rock with stripped-down folk balladry..." - Exclaim! Magazine

Jeremy is extremely pleased to be joined by Vancouver's kings of blue grass / country, The Washboard Union. Described as “a 3 car pile-up of Old Crow Medicine Show, Steve Earle, and the Avett Bros”, The Washboard Union is Canada’s only 6-piece outlaw band.
'Their sound is undeniable." -vanmusic.ca
