Event Description
LOVECoast
Known for their upbeat nature and roaring good times, LOVECoast is a young band with old soul. The band consists of Danielle Sweeney (Vocals), Scott Verbeek (Guitar), Justin Brown (Bass) and Ryder Sheen (Drums). These talented young BC artists are making waves throughout Vancouver show by show, bringing an exciting mix of R&B, pop, blues and jazz to the stage. LOVECoast pulls inspiration from classic legends such as Otis Redding and Ella Fitzgerald, and applies it to their modern influences to create their unique sound. This Vancouver based band is dynamic and diverse in their composition, blending old with new.
Now solidly located in Vancouver BC, LOVECoast has played many venues with some amazing friends such as peak performance project 2013 participant Luca Fogale, and Indie Folk/Soul artist Connor Roff. Their passion lies in their love for music, artistry, and community.

Fallbrigade
Hailing from Victoria, BC, comes the folk music of Fallbrigade. The music of this brother-sister duo is a reflection of Caleb and Esther Scott’s adventurous and eclectic upbringing. The two spent their childhood living in different countries around the world, including Canada, United States, South America, Scotland, England and other European Nations. These diverse cultural influences are evident in FallBrigade’s songs, as well as the spirit of adventure and experimentation that comes from a life of constant change and renewal. Their songs contain moments of deep, moody intensity, sheer sonic bliss, and pretty much everything else in between.
Starting as single artists in 2006, both songwriters and performers in their own right, multi-instrumentalists Caleb and Esther began working together in the fall of 2012, soon after, FallBrigade was formed. The two of them take the collaborative mindset to the extreme: the group has no lead singer, and they co-write all their songs, sometimes even singing each other’s lyrics. They began their collaboration when they realized that by working together, they could each take their individual artistry to a whole new level. The bond between these two is evident as they play off of each other’s voices, creating delectable harmonies
