Event Description
Come out to boogie down with live music while raising money to complete two new community arts spaces for the Cowichan Valley.
Local musician Chuck Wenberg and his band, Used Goods, will rock the house for the cause! Great dance floor. Silent Auction. Door prizes.
Construction is well under way to convert the ground floor of the historic Cowichan Station Rural School (2375 Koksilah Rd) into:
1) The Clay HUB Studio - Cowichan Valley's first community clay studio - a membership based non-profit pottery studio offering 12 wheels for classes, teaching space, and studio time. A project of the Clay HUB Collective. Wheelchair accessible.
2) The Wreck-Room - a community arts and multi-purpose classroom with beautiful sunlight and sealed concrete floors to enable easy clean-up for arts classes, art projects, or kids parties. Wheelchair accessible.
