The most captivating moments are when it is just LePoidevin and his ukulele, and watching him gradually build a layered backtrack with a loop pedal. The beautiful song "You Know Your War," displays LePoidevin’s talent for effectively looping his vocals, into an ethereal and dreamy three-part vocal harmony.

Carousels began as a four piece busking group, normally found entertaining tourists in downtown Victoria in the summer.
The band has since blossomed into an eight member orchestra comprising accordion, trumpet, clarinet, violin, trombone, guitar and drums, and developed their own distinct sound: Eastern European reverberations coupled with the influence of the best carnival music you’ll hear.
