Event Description
How many serial killers does it take to put on a show? Two, in this case.
"Love is for Superbeasts" is a tale woven by a killer couple now in custody for their crimes. They want to share with you their deadly secrets... but only in the most entertaining way possible! Using a death-defying blend of storytelling, black comedy and dance they challenge the ‘pop-culture’ of serial killers and criminology, and gives you a grand tour of some very skeleton filled closets. Someone might even throw a chair at one point.
Written by Mily Mumford (Determined Illusions, Atomic Vaudeville) and performed by Mily Mumford and Joseph Goble (Atomic Vaudeville, Canadian College of Performing Arts). Work shopped by Britt Small (Atomic Vaudeville, "Ride the Cyclone") and guest directed by Peter Such (author, playwright, President of Victoria College of Art, Professor emeritus York University).
Run time 60 minutes. Rated PG-13 for Violence (they murder people as a hobby), Sexuality (because who wants to see a show without that) and Adult themes (see above).
