Sometimes from bad luck or circumstance, amazing opportunities and transformations can arise. This is much the case for Maurice, a man, and a band, born and raised in Victoria BC Canada. From a major label signing, lofty expectations, and working closely with producer David Foster in Hollywood, to tumult and shattered dreams, out of a mishandled career path and naivety, Jean-Paul Maurice was able to pick up the pieces and take his music and art into his own hands.
Stellar Radio Choir:

Stellar Radio Choir sounds like your dads record collection that has been struck by a high energy pulsar beam; they combine hooky bass lines, a strong back beat, and psychedelic washed out guitar for a unique result. This three piece garage/rock and roll band has recently released their debut EP "ATTACK! of the laser tiger". Stellar Radio Choir's relentless touring of B.C and Alberta has carved their live show into a sonic distortion of the space-time continuum, not to be missed.
Ciseaux:
http://www.facebook.com/ciseauxmusic
Ciseaux is the most recent endeavor of Victoria, BC artist, Katie Schaan. Melodies swam around her head and danced out her rosebud lips before she was old enough to even know words to speak. That tiny girl lived three years of life before hitting the stage with a tiny cello, and there was no stopping her from music making after that. Ciseaux is inspired by everything from Bach’s Brandenburg concertos, to soulful melodies of the 60’s, to the imaginative indie persuasions of her peers. This is a project evolved from classical training, a love of pop music and an unwillingness to be limited by genre.
