BIRDS OF WAR boasts a blinding blitzkrieg of grinding, double-axe attacks, unrelenting rhythm, whiskey-smooth bass lines and the wingspan of a Late Cretaceous-era Pteranodon in a sonic death-spiral. A truly eclectic rock amalgamation, it’s a hard sound to peg down but it’s undeniably rock. http://www.supernova.com/birdsofwar
WHITEY - Delivering the goods in BC since February of 2001, Whitey has been charging dance floors and festivals across the country since 2005. With an EP, two full-lengths, and a documentary/live DVD in their library, this group from Chilliwack/Vancouver BC is well experienced. Their style, incorporating everything from Funk to Latin to Blues, offers something for everyone in an extremely energetic live show. http://www.myspace.com/whiteycanada
The GRIZZ sprang to life from the ashes of a cancelled jam session of another Vancouver band, The Sicks. With a penchant for getting really high and embarking on mind-expanding space jams, the power trio has been hard at work writing material, honing their sound and getting ready to rock. They've also recently made the decision to be really loud. http://www.myspace.com/thegrizzband
JEFF LAING has had the honour of holding many musical titles, most notably that of classical vocal performer and pianist. In stepping away from his past, turning the corner and looking forward, he's now embarking on combining his vast musical experiences and crafting his songwriting to capture the true essence of pop bliss. Helping him on the way are a company of musicians, artists and friends with a wealth of musical talent and imagination to fuel the live account of these tales. http://www.myspace.com/jefflaing
