Magazine, a CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award Winner, Grand Prize Winner of Toronto's IndieWeek and a recent nominee for Emerging Artist of the Year at the upcoming Canadian Folk Music Awards, Curve Music/Sony Music Canada recording artist Peter Katz captivates listeners with his unique brand of folk music. Playing 150+ dates a year all over the world, Katz’s remarkable grassroots efforts have resulted in him independently selling over 10,000 copies of his discs and landing support spots with such notable artists as The Swell Season, Bedouin Soundclash, Jeremy Fisher, Dan Mangan, Murray Mclachlan and many others. Peter is currently on an 90+ show tour throughout North America and Europe promoting the release of his brand new CD ‘First of the Last to Know’ which debuted at #1 on the singer-songwriter charts on itunes and has since returned to #1 on 3 separate occasions.
