This is FacePlant's annual "Celebration of Specialness."
Here's the official press release:
For our 12th anniversary celebratory fundraiser for the practice space FacePlant (east end Vancouver), we have an unprecedented twenty-one bands/solo artists performing between two rooms in one venue. Yes, we're taking over the Railway Club Smoking Room as well!
In addition to a couple of 'debuts' (ie. Slowpoke, Uber Sissy, Betty Kracker), FaceFest will as usual feature an eclectic selection of some of Vancouver's very finest established musical talent. Each set will be approximately fifteen minutes in length (a bit longer on the Small Stage). Shared equipment, diligent emcees and immaculate stage management (!) should make it indeed possible for this number of acts to 'fit' between the Start time of 8:00 PM and last call! Actually, we figure it will be all over by 3:00AM. Hey, we've been doing this sort of thing annually for eight years, now! Come see how it's done, and join in the fun.
Show Starts 8:00PM sharp!
On the Main Stage in this order (subject to change):
Wet Exit - rock
Pax - alt rock
Reverberators Remix - experimental instro-surf/rock
