Van Music www.vanmusic.ca presents a night of local talent every month at the Railway Club 579 Dunsmuir Street. This Wednesday April 7th we will showcase a stellar line up of Vancouver bands. Up coming talents Aunts and Uncles and Chelsea Johnson with her new band Sunday’s Best will open the night followed by an energetic east European rock flavor of Waltz Darling. Headlining will be The Get Down, a superb chameleonic band who just released their second CD Are you down! Doors at 8:30 PM tickets $10.

Sunday’s Best
Chelsea Johnson has appeared on Canadian Idol on a few occasions and was even picked to go to Toronto. Her heartfelt tones and playful energy radiate from the stage while her songs keep you until the last note. Their band consist, besides Chelsea of these young talent Kenan, Moflo, and Adam Farnsworth. They are blues, soul, rock, you won´t be disappointed.

Aunts and Uncles
Aunts and Uncles formed in March of 2009, combining members from an eclectic mix of bands, including the SSRIs, Like Animals Again, The Barcelona Chair and Friends From School.
