Jennifer Louise Taylor with the wonderfully talented Ken Hall. Saturday, August 1st from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Paisley Restaurant on Esquimalt Rd. behind the Tim Horton's at Head Street.) Come on down for a bevvy and/or dessert. There is no cover charge.
Jennifer Louise Taylor has toured Canada and the US, and been a guest
studio musician for CBC national radio. From the acoustic roots tradition, her songs weave a tapestry, both fun and meaningful. Focus Magazine
describes Jennifer Louise Taylor's "velvety contralto [as] magical."
Ken Hall is a prominent figure in the Victoria music scene. He studied
composition at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto. Since moving to the
Victoria he has played with the Stomp Club, Emily Braden Trio, The
Sidewalk Blues band, Kumbia, Sunyata and The Sara Merrerios band.
