"Introducing Infinitus" - A Dynamic String Trio Concert: Infinitus

Event Description

From November 2008 to May 2009, Infinitus will be presenting a series of 5 concerts that explore the classical string trio repertoire, as well as original arrangements/compositions that explore non-classical genres. The inaugural concert, titled “Introducing Infinitus,” will take place at the Western Front (303 E. 8th St., Vancouver) on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 3pm. The program includes classical works by Kodaly and Francaix; as well as Infinitus’ signature jazz, hip-hop, and latin arrangements ranging from Thelonious Monk’s “’Round Midnight” to Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water"!
