Join us for an educational concert produced by The Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra (VICO), that aims to shed new light on the art of intercultural music-making. This is the opening event for VICO’s 2008-09 season.
Featuring an ensemble of 9 musicians, and a new intercultural work by musical director Joseph "Pepe" Danza, New Sound Worlds will delve into the music of Japan and China, Africa and Latin America, the Middle East and India, the Jewish and Celtic traditions, and Jazz.
