The SATELLITE NATION - Hailing from the Central Coast near Sydney, Australia and now based in Vancouver, The Satellite Nation are a truly exciting, raw and organic musical collective poised to make a major impact with their songs about life, love, loss, coming of age and the world around us. They have toured Australia extensively, built a killer live show and a solid, loyal fan base, won numerous awards and received high rotation on radio. All this has guaranteed their place in the Australian music scene and they are now set to repeat their success in North America. Their new record was released on January 26th to a sold out show and now with an upcoming North American tour, headlining performances at music festivals as well as growing radio support, The Satellite Nation has no intention of slowing down. Watch for the sparks to fly! http://www.myspace.com/thesatellitenation

Having honed their stage chops while on tour, their impressive live show has garnered the band fans across Canada and has them heading across Canada to NXNE in Toronto in March. Their Debut album, "Foam Faces" produced by Howard Redekopp (Tegan & Sara, New Pornographers, 54-40) will be shipped out in a promo bundle to every college/university radio station across Canada, along with the Crystal Castles new album at the end of February, through Universal and Frontside. http://www.myspace.com/utsmusic
