Islamic Choral Music & Aboriginal Music: Unique Bridges
Join us for the second program in a six-part series produced by the Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra that aims to shed new light on the art of intercultural music-making.
Hussein Janmohamed, a choral director and composer with an abiding interest in Islamic music, Western choral culture, and Aboriginal music and sensibilities, will present a program dealing with his inter-cultural journey of discovery. He will be joined by his choristers in live music demonstrations.
