In the Alice MacKay Room -: Impressions Big Band

Event Description

For the past forty years Vancouver has been home to many of Canada’s best arrangers and composers in the jazz idiom. Come and hear the Impressions Big Band celebrate the work of seven of Vancouver's finest: Ray Sikora, Bobby Hales, Jack Fulton, Alan Matheson, Fred Stride, Bill Coon, and Jill Townsend. Members of the band – and in some cases the composers themselves – will provide an introduction to the music you will hear.
